When you sign up for or use StarScore, we collect:
We do not sell your data. We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in.
If you use the Get 5-Star Reviews feature, you provide us with your customers' phone numbers to send SMS satisfaction surveys. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary consent to contact those individuals. We do not use those numbers for any purpose other than sending the messages you configure. We do not sell or share them with third parties.
SMS consent: By providing a customer's phone number to StarScore Pro, you confirm that the customer has verbally consented to receive SMS messages, including review requests, from your business. Customers may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your configuration.
SMS messages are sent via Twilio from the number (888) 469-6336. For help or to stop receiving messages, reply HELP or STOP to any message, or contact support@starscorepro.com.
We use the following third-party services to operate StarScore:
Each service has its own privacy policy. Your data may be processed by these services in accordance with their policies.
We retain your account and review data for as long as your account is active. Upon cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days to allow for reactivation, then deleted. You may request immediate deletion at any time by emailing support@starscorepro.com.
We use cookies for authentication (via Clerk), session management, and analytics (via Google Analytics). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies for third-party ad targeting.
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. Contact us at support@starscorepro.com for any data requests. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the following applies to you under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Legal basis for processing: We process your personal data on the following bases: (a) performance of a contract — to provide the StarScore service you signed up for; (b) legitimate interests — to improve our product, prevent fraud, and ensure security; (c) consent — where you have explicitly opted in to communications.
Your GDPR rights: You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data. You also have the right to object to processing and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. Data transfers: StarScore is operated from the United States. If you are located in the EEA or UK, your data is transferred to and processed in the US. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) where applicable for such transfers.
